Come celebrate Robidoux Row's 25th Anniversary by attending their annual Candlelight Tour.  Heritage Action members decorated the kitchen for the annual Row fundraiser.  Other rooms were decorated by:  Wood N. Glass, Home Interiors, Designs by Gordon, St. Joseph Preservation, Inc., Local Jewish Community, Andi-Kat Enterprises, and the Saint Joseph HIstorical Socieity.  Robidoux Row's gift shop carries many Saint Joseph items, including books and t-shirts.  Fresh bake sale items will be available each day of the tour.

Robidoux Row is one of Saint Joseph's oldest remaining buildings.  Built by the city's founding fatherJoseph Robidioux in the 1840's and added onto in the 50's, Robidoux Row served as a temporary lodging quarter for people moving to town and for those just passing through.  Joe would let folks stay for free while their house was being built, provided they bought the lot from him.  Robidoux Row was nearly lost to the I-229 exit ramp if it hadn't been for the Saint Joseph Historical Society.  They got it listed on the National Register in 1973; purchased it in 1974; and opened it in1981.

Please continue to support this important local historic site and attend this year's tour!
