In June 2003, a group of 25 enthusiasts
formed Heritage Action to support the rich heritage of St Joseph.
With the belief that there are many facets of St Joseph’s
heritage, this organization has designated seven action-oriented
project groups to organize and assist in retaining the
remaining architecture in St Joseph.
Our current boardmembers consist of preservation consultants, historic restoration company owners, historians, historic property owners, and architectural and antiquity specialists. While donating time and resources to Heritage Action, each boardmember is active with their own businesses, projects, and/or service on other volunteer community boards.
2007 Boardmembers:
President: Olin Cox

Treasurer: Jennifer Greub
Membership: Carol Almanza

WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe that every old structure is historically significant, tells a story, and with its own architectural detail, reflects the social, economic, and political trends of Saint Joseph and America. Each building symbolizes a specific period in our city’s history and helps us to not only understand our heritage, but embrace our future.
